Each one of this wildlife sanctuary is home of rare animals, birds, reptiles, insects and plants. The endangered Nilgiri Tahr, lion-tailed macaque, Atlas Moth-the largest in the world and Travancore Evening Brown-one of the rarest butterflies in the world are various animals and birds found in the wildlife sanctuaries in Kerala. The Neelakurinji that blossoms once every twelve years and Podocarpus Wallichianus, the only South Indian Conifer is also only found in Kerala. And skirting

these exotic destinations are some of the most delightful trekking trails in Kerala at Wayanad, Nelliampathy, Munnar, Thekkady, Agasthyarkoodam. Some of them are adventurously exciting and enchanting. All the wildlife sanctuaries and national parks are washed in the spice scented air of endless acres of plantations of Tea, coffee, cardamom, vanilla, pepper, oranges and mangoes.
